Hand Stitched Quilts Together
1983 For Sewing Group Remembered each of the 12 members of the Sew, Sip & Sing sewing group did 12 squares of the same design, then each made their squares into a wall hanging. The center feature of this hand stitched quilt shows the women in the “Sew, Sip & Sing” sewing group, around the sewing table. The twelve women are Frances A Brand, E. Beardsley, M. Lydecker, R. McKinstry, E. Meaney, M. Mello, A. O’Brien, M. Olsen, M. Oram, S. Roberts, D. Royal and F. Schmelke.
